Steps

01Review notification categories

QuantumEdge groups notifications into categories: platform_incident, migration, policy_update, exchange_disconnect, risk_limit, deployment_error, and system_alert. Each category can be independently configured.

02Set per-category preferences

Under Settings > Notifications, toggle individual categories on or off. Critical categories like deployment errors and risk limit breaches are enabled by default.

03Understand priority levels

Notifications are delivered based on severity. High-priority alerts (exchange disconnects, risk breaches) are delivered immediately. Lower-priority items may be batched.

04Review notification history

The Notification Center maintains a history of all delivered notifications. Use this to audit past alerts and verify that your configuration captures the events you care about.

05Adjust as needed

Revisit notification preferences periodically, especially after deploying new strategies or changing your trading strategy. Ensure alerts match your current risk monitoring needs.
