Steps

01Pause vs Archive decision

Pausing keeps the deployment configuration intact and allows you to resume later. Archiving permanently deactivates the strategy — it cannot be resumed, but all history is preserved.

02Pause a deployment

Open the deployment detail view and click 'Pause'. The strategy transitions to the 'paused' state, stops opening new positions, and allows you to edit settings. Resume when ready.

03Archive a deployment

To permanently retire a strategy, select 'Archive'. The deployment moves to the 'archived' state. All trade history and logs remain accessible for review.

04Platform-initiated pauses

Strategies may also be paused automatically by the platform — for example, if consecutive trade failures exceed the auto-pause threshold, or if a risk limit is breached. Check the activity log for the specific reason.
