The strategy is configured but has not been deployed. All settings are editable. No market monitoring or trading occurs in this state.
A transitional state after you click Deploy. The platform is initializing the strategy, validating the exchange connection, and preparing to begin trading. This state resolves automatically to 'active' or 'failed'.
The strategy is live and monitoring markets. It can open and close positions according to your configured rules. Settings are locked while active — pause first to make changes.
Paused: You manually paused the strategy; it can be resumed. Halted: The platform or an administrator stopped the strategy (e.g., platform-wide trading halt). Failed: The strategy encountered a critical error such as an exchange connection failure or repeated execution errors. Review the activity log for details.
The deployment is permanently deactivated and moved to historical records. Archived strategies cannot be resumed, but all trade history and logs are preserved for review.
