MFA adds a critical second layer of security beyond your password. Even if your password is compromised, an attacker cannot access your account without the second factor. MFA is required before you can deploy trading strategies.
Navigate to Settings > Security and click Enable MFA. Scan the displayed QR code with your authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Authy, or 1Password). Enter the six-digit code displayed in your app to confirm setup.
After enabling MFA, you will receive a set of one-time backup codes. Store these in a secure offline location. Each backup code can only be used once and provides access if you lose your authenticator device.
If you lose access to your authenticator and backup codes, contact support with identity verification. Account recovery requires manual verification and may take up to 48 hours for security purposes.
